Friday links

See all Friday links. (Work currently very busy so I’ve not got time for many postings. In Paris next week, so blogs will again be lacking.)

/ Don’t blame people in public – it is contagious.

/ Google searches predict unemployment rates accurately.

/ Uganda anti-gay bill (imposing the death penalty on gays) ‘may change’. How generous.

/ Religiosity and moral conviction are not two sides of the same coin.

/ Don’t suppress anxiety – it doesn’t help.

/ Don’t cite global numbers unless you know they are trustworthy (which they usually are not). I am guilty.

/ Why don’t humans have fur?

/ IPL to be streamed live on YouTube. A first for big sport.
